100VG-AnyLAN - technical definition

Standardized as IEEE 802.12, 100VG-AnyLAN supports Ethernet,Token Ring, and other LAN standards, incorporating a collisionless polling technique. The standard is considered obsolete, having been overwhelmed by Ethernet. See also Ethernet, IEEE, and Token Ring.
