2.4 GHz band - technical definition

Refers to the frequency range from 2.4 to 2.4835 GHz, which is unlicensed and used for many communications applications, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Microwave ovens also use this frequency. See 5 GHz band, ISM band, Bluetooth and 802.11.
