ACCESS.bus - technical definition

A serial bus that allowed a variety of slow-speed peripherals (mouse, keyboard, etc.) to be daisy chained together using telephone wire. Providing a total bandwidth of 100 Kbps, it never caught on and was superseded by the much faster USB.
