Anti-Virus Emergency Response Team - technical definition

Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, the McAfee, Inc. Anti-Virus Emergency Response Team (known as AVERT) sets out to provide enterprises, government agencies, and institutions with essential services needed to respond rapidly to intrusions on desktop computers, servers, and the network.
