CanSecWest/core - technical definition

CanSec West/core is a hacker conference. The sixth annual conference was held in Vancouver, Canada, on April 3–7, 2006. The conference tends to focus on emerging information security research while also touching on auditing and penetration testing and security and defense strategies. The presenters are usually experienced security professionals rather than newcomers to the hacking community.
