Class C ATM traffic - technical definition

In ITU-T standards for asynchronous transfer mode (ATM), a class of traffic supported by ATM Adaptation Layer 3/4 (AAL3/4). Such traffic is connection-oriented variable bit rate (VBR) traffic with no timing relationship between the source and the sink. Examples of Class C traffic include X.25 and frame relay.
