DOS/Win - technical definition

Refers to Windows 3.1, which runs under DOS and requires that DOS be installed prior to the Windows installation. It is really just another way of saying Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11 or Windows for Workgroups, all collectively known as Windows 3.1.
