Oracle Process Manufacturing - technical definition


An ERP system for the process manufacturing industry from Oracle that runs on a variety of Unix-based computers. It provides more than a dozen integrated modules for research and development, manufacturing, distribution, customer service and financial activities. Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) was originally Global Enterprise Manufacturing Management System (GEMMS), first developed by Datalogix. Oracle renamed the product after it acquired Datalogix in 1997.
