selective call forwarding - technical definition

A CLASS service feature of the public switched telephone network (PSTN). Selective call forwarding screens incoming calls against a user-defined list of telephone numbers. Calls from only those numbers are forwarded to another telephone number. Calls from all other numbers ring through, as usual. See also CLASS and PSTN.
