Introduced by U.S. Senator Joseph
Lieberman, D-CT, on December 21, 2001, to set up the National Commission on
Terrorist Attacks. The bill was
sent to the Committee on Governmental Affairs. On February 7, 2002, Committee
hearings were held, and on March 21, 2002, the Committee reported the bill. On
May 16, 2002, introductory remarks on the measure were made. It was not passed
in this form.
