Customizing in Vista

The Vista Personalization menu is a springboard to everything the user normally customizes, including window appearance, sounds and mouse settings. Clicking any of these options returns a dialog box like the one below.

The Themes Dialog

Each appearance category has its own dialog box for changing settings. In Windows XP (above), all the appearance options are tabs at the top of the dialog box. In Vista, you have to go back to the Personalization menu to switch to another group of settings.
