Windows Second Edition - technical definition

An upgrade to Windows 98 that included bug fixes and enhancements. Introduced in 1999, Windows Second Edition (SE) incorporated Windows 98 Service Pack 1 with application upgrades to Internet Explorer 5, Outlook Express 5, NetMeeting 3 and Media Player 6.1. See Windows.
